For Schools
Leadership & Culture
Leading with care
Culture is the part of a school everybody feels and nobody can find in a folder. This is where we close the gap between the values you have written down and the experience of an ordinary Tuesday.
What I can offer
- Articulate what your school genuinely stands for, then test it against daily practice.
- Coach heads, deputies and middle leaders, either termly or around one pressing issue.
- Turn stated values into real decisions on staffing, curriculum time and budget.
- Review culture through the firsthand experience of pupils and staff, and report honestly.
- Support new leadership, difficult inspection recovery and vision that has drifted.
- Address workload, recognition and psychological safety before they become resignations.
“Justin Kett is uniquely placed to advise on leadership and culture, given that he was the embodiment of thoughtful, decisive, and inspiring leadership and was responsible for inculcating a culture of respect, inclusivity, and joy.”
“I worked closely with Justin for many years whilst he embedded positive mental health in the school and ensured all children had access to positive wellbeing. Justin was driven to ensure all children were happy, confident and resilient.”

Why Arba Anafim is different
Most culture reviews are carried out by people who have never had to hold a staff meeting together on a difficult Monday. I have. Every recommendation here has to survive a real school week, and staff wellbeing is treated as part of culture rather than a separate initiative bolted on afterwards.
Every school has a culture. The question is whether it has been shaped by design or left to chance.
If yours is not quite what you intended, or you simply want a second pair of eyes on it, a conversation costs nothing.
